Jozani is the last indigenous forest left on Zanzibar and home to the red Colobus monkey, which is one of the world’s most endangered species. The forest is also home to Sykes monkies, Ader’s Duiker, bush babies, over 50 butterfly species, 40 species of birds and hundreds different types of trees. As you walk through the forest, you’ll get a chance to see the monkeys up close and learn about the various plants and animals that lives here.
