Detailed Itienerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park.

Pick up from Arusha, Moshi, Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro international airport and head straight to Tarangire National Park where your safari will begin. The park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire world that can easily be seen amongst its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. The park is named after the Tarangire River which is the only source of water for the animals during dry seasons hence attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits game driving loops will give you a chance to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. After a full day of fantastic game driving in Tarangire we will transfer to our lodge for dinner and a night of relaxation.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Lake Burunge Tented Lodge / Motto cottages.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early morning breakfast at our lodge/campsite (depending on our accommodation), we will leave and enter into the Ngorongoro conservation area and descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. We will also have the optional opportunity of visiting a Maasai Boma (village) should you choose to see how this magnificent tribe lives in a primitive manner. After a fantastic day full of wildlife, you will ascend from the crater and transfer to Drop-off point in Arusha, Moshi or to Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your late in the evening flight to Zanzibar.
