4 Days Safari to Serengeti Np & Ngorongoro Crater

Our Safari Overview

With this package you will spend 3 fantastic days and 2 nights in the Serengeti and 1 day 1 night in the Ngorongoro as well as visit the crater. you can transfer to the Serengeti by road from Arusha or Moshi or You can choose to fly to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti from Zanzibar or Dar-es-Salaam (cost of flights not included in price) where your guide will be waiting with your safari Jeep ready for exploration or transfer from Arusha via Road. Flying saves you time as you won’t be spending too much time on transit in a safari jeep which can take up to 5 hours. The package can further be customized so that you fly out from Serengeti after the safari is done. Nights will be spent in nice lodges under a full board basis. There is also an option to visit a Maasai Boma while in Ngorongoro conservation area to experience their culture. The Package can allow you to witness the great wildebeest’s migration depending on where they will be situated at time of travel.

Other variations of the package are available which involve flying to/from the Serengeti either both ways or one way.

 Day 1: Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti. You can choose between flying to the Serengeti where your guide will meet you at the airstrip in Serengeti or transfer via Road (flight costs not included in the cost). Serengeti which is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system.  Exploration will begin immediately after entering the parks gate and we will get to witness the Serengeti wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest. Comes evening, we will perform an en-route game drive to our Lodge in the bush for a night of relaxation and unwinding.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park.

Today you’ll spend the whole day in the Serengeti exploring its far reaches. You will either leave with your guide early in the morning for game drives and come back to the lodge for branch and leave again shortly after or, you will have breakfast then head out for game driving then come back for lunch and then head out again in the late afternoon. Either option is perfect as It is well known that mornings and evenings are the best times for game driving as wildlife do not prefer being out under the scorching hot sun and so they prefer the coolness of mornings ad evenings.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy the sunrise in the Serengeti followed by a morning and afternoon of further exploring the Serengeti and its magnificent eco-system and animals in their raw natural habitats. The central part of Serengeti is perfect for game viewing all year round because of its abundance of wildlife due to presence of food and water throughout the year. Comes evening, we will exit the Serengeti and enter into Ngorongoro conservation with the purpose of spending the night at out lodge nested on the crater Rim ready to descend into the crater the following morning. Alternatively, we can spend another night in our previous lodge in the Serengeti and head to the crater the next morning straight from the Serengeti.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early morning breakfast at our, we will enter into the Ngorongoro conservation area and descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, it is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. We will also have the optional opportunity of visiting a Maasai Boma (village) should you choose to see how this magnificent tribe lives in a primitive manner. After a fantastic day full of wildlife, you will ascend from the crater and transfer back to your lodge in Arusha or Karatu.
