3 Days Safari to Serengeti NP & Ngorongoro Crater.

Our Safari Overview

This 3-day package offers you a chance to experience the Serengeti and Ngorongoro (or just Serengeti if you choose) for the shortest amount of time possible. with this package and depending on the season there is a chance to see the wildebeest migration. If you are in Zanzibar or Dar you can choose to fly to Seronera Airstrip (SEU) in Serengeti (cost of flights not included) and your guide will be waiting with your safari Jeep ready for exploration. If you are in Arusha/Moshi you will transfer from there to the Serengeti via Road. Flying saves you time as you won’t be spending too much time on transit in a safari jeep which can take over 5 hours. Anything shorter than these three days and Serengeti will be out of the question due to its distance from Arusha. Depending on the season, the package can start with Ngorongoro and then end with Serengeti.

Other variations of the package are available which involve flying to/from the Serengeti to Zanzibar or Dar either both ways or one way.

Day 1: Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti. You can choose between flying to the Serengeti where your guide will meet you at the airstrip in Serengeti or transfer via Road (costs of flights not included in the Rates below). Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system.  Exploration will begin immediately after entering the parks gate and we will get to witness the Serengeti wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest. Comes evening, we will perform an en-route game drive to our Lodge in the bush for a night of relaxation and unwinding.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Narudi Tented Camp / Serengeti Baobab tented Lodge.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy the sunrise in the Serengeti followed by the day in central Serengeti further exploring its magnificent eco-system and animals in their raw natural habitats. The central part of Serengeti is perfect for game viewing all year round because of its abundance of wildlife due to presence of food and water throughout the year. Depending on the agreement you had with the guide in the morning, you might head back to the lodge for a hot lunch and leave again in the evening for further exploration or carry picnic lunch with you and explore for the whole day, Depending on the season, this evening we might head back to our previous lodge in the Serengeti or enter into Ngorongoro conservation are for game driving around Ndutu and ultimately spend the night at out lodge on the crater Rim.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early morning breakfast at our, we will enter into the Ngorongoro conservation area and descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, it is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. We will also have the optional opportunity of visiting a Maasai Boma (village) should you choose to see how this magnificent tribe lives in a primitive manner. After a fantastic day full of wildlife, you will ascend from the crater and transfer back to your lodge in Arusha or Karatu.
