Our Safari Overview
This 5 Days safari focuses on the Serengeti National Park where you will get 3 full days of game driving and exploration in the worlds most wonderful national park. In addition to that you get 1 day in Tarangire National park and a day in the Ngorongoro Crater. This trip is ideal to people of all ages and can also be done in 7 days where the first and the last day are of arrival and departure (Please see our 7 Days to Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater)

Detailed Itienerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park.
Early in the Morning transfer to Tarangire National Park. The Park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire world that can be seen among its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which is the only source of water for the animals during dry season, hence attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits game driving loops will give us a chance to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. We will bring picnic lunch with us enabling us to explore further and longer. After a fantastic day in Tarangire we will exit the park and drive to our lodge.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park.
Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation area. Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system. We will get to witness its wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest. Our game drive will begin shortly after being done with the formalities and entering the Serengeti gates and will continue till late evening where will make our way to our Lodge/campsite for the night.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti is hands down the world’s best national parks by far with numerous number one awards every year and today will prove this statement to be true. You and your guide will leave the lodge early in the morning for a fantastic full day of wildlife tracking and viewing followed by a magnificent African sunset. You might choose to head back to the lodge for a hot meal at lunch time and then leave again in the late afternoon for further exploration before returning to our lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Should the sky be clear then be sure to enjoy the sunset in the Serengeti on a sundowner picnic style in the middle of the bush.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy the sunrise in the Serengeti followed by a morning and afternoon of further exploring the Serengeti and its magnificent eco-system and animals in their raw natural habitats. The central part of Serengeti is perfect for game viewing all year round because of its abundance of wildlife due to presence of food and water throughout the year. Comes evening, we will exit the Serengeti and enter into Ngorongoro conservation with the purpose of spending the night at out lodge nested on the crater Rim ready to descend into the crater the following morning. (alternatively, we can spend another night in the Serengeti ready to descend into the crater the following morning depending on the season).

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater.
Today will be all about the Ngorongoro conservation area and the Ngorongoro Crater. With its more than 25000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino the crater is a must Visit. you will leave early in the morning right after breakfast with the sole aim of descending into the crater; the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site. After a fantastic day full of wildlife, you will ascend from the crater and transfer back to your lodge in Arusha or Karatu. While in Ngorongoro conservation area, you will also have the optional opportunity of visiting a Maasai Boma (village) should you choose to see how this magnificent tribe lives in a primitive manner coexisting with the wild animals in perfect harmony.
