Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park.

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, world famous for its tree climbing lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, flamingos, leopards and a magnificent bird life. The park is set out on east Africa’s stunning Rift Valley landscape and has varied habitats: ranging from acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, hot springs as well as the lake where all its animals can be found. We’ll also visit a hot water spring in Lake Manyara where the water flows through volcanic rock and comes out so hot that it burns to the touch (it is said that the water is hot enough to boil an Egg we dare you to bring one for trial). We’ll have a picnic lunch in lake Manyara and in the evening we’ll slowly exit the park and drive up the rift valley escarpment to our lodge nested in Karatu highlands.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Maasailand Coffee Lodge.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation area. Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system. We will get to witness its wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest. Our game driving will begin shortly after being done with the formalities at the parks gate and entering the park and will continue till late evening where we will make our way to our Lodge for diner and a night or relaxation.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Baobab Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti is hands down the world’s best national parks by far with numerous number one awards every year and today will prove this statement to be true. You and your guide will leave the lodge early in the morning for a fantastic full day of wildlife tracking and viewing followed by a magnificent African sunset. You might choose to head back to the lodge for a hot meal at lunch time and then leave again in the late afternoon for further exploration before returning to our lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Should the sky be clear then be sure to enjoy the sunset in the Serengeti on a sundowner pick-nick style in the middle of the bush.
